WHAT IS YOUTH ENSEMBLE THEATRE?

Theatre by, for, and with young people.

The establishment of the YET formalizes our commitment to bringing theatre into the lives of children and young people. Children and young people of all ages are invited to participate onstage, backstage, and in all aspects of the theatre. In addition to staging productions, YET will support and promote the theatrical endeavors of our local schools and other performing arts organizations.

We hope to bring this production to our audiences soon! Charlotte’s Web, written by EB White and adapted by Joseph Robinette. Produced in cooperation with Dramatic Publishing Company. Directed by Jessica Trivino. Audition Dates: December 1 and 2, 2024. Production Dates: January 17,18,19,24 and 25, 2025.

June 2025 Fantastic Mr. Fox, written by Roald Dahl and Sally Reid, produced in cooperation with Dramatic Publishing. Directed by Keean Sexton. Audition Dates: March 29 and 30. Production Dates: June 20, 21,22,27 and 28, 2025.

YET - Miss Tut Awards

The Miss Tut Awards are held each year to celebrate the YET season and the production members. The Miss Tut Awards are partnered with the DLT regular season awards, The Billy Awards, and are named for longtime DLT patron Ms. Gertrude “Tut” McFarland.
