Dalton Little Theatre maintains a Facebook group where volunteer needs and opportunities are posted. Varied opportunities are available for an “all-volunteer” organization. It takes more than actors, directors—sets must be built, backstage help is needed for productions (Stage Managers, Dressers, Stage Hands). We have House Volunteers who work our Ticket Booth and Concessions during performances (this does require attending a training session). The building and grounds must be kept up (yes, we do that as volunteers as well). So there are several big clean-up days through the season. Costumes to be sorted, props to be cleaned and stored, and plain old dusting, vacuuming, etc. to be done…

There’s a place for anyone who has a volunteer heart and enjoys being a part of bringing theatre to life. Not to mention making some great friends!
