AUDITIONS FOR YOUTH ENSEMBLE THEATRE SUMMER PRODUCTION

“Rising Sun, Rising Moon” A play by Randy Wyatt

Directed by Elizabeth Reeves

Director Elizabeth Reeves will hold auditions for “Rising Sun, Rising Moon” on June 26th at 2:00 and June 27 at 6:00 p.m. Roles are available for young peoples ages 6-13. All performers must be able to read and memorize lines. Auditions will be readings from the script.

“Rising Sun, Rising Moon” will be performed July 28-31, 2011

   The Tony Award Winning Musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”

Director Jerry Draper brings us this musical comedy about six young people battling it out to win the Spelling Bee, all while learning about winning and losing, love and loss, family and friends, and all the turmoil that middle school has to offer. It’s about puberty, growing up, figuring out what life is all about and having always remembering to ask for “the origins of the word.” “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is full of singing, dancing, and spelling-with a mix of audience participation. So brush up on your spelling skills and get ready for a show that you won’t soon forget.

The cast includes: Carol Van Winkle, Joey Parrott, Paul Vaughn, Tanner Blackton, Will Park, Meagan Cobb, Justin Young,  Riley Klotz & Jenell Gilreath

Thursday and Friday June 9,10, 16, 17 at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday June 11, 18 at 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m.

                             This production is an adult show and is rated PG-13 for language and some adult content. It is not intended for young audiences.
